National Police Remembrance Day - 29 September

Our parish will be hosting the National Police Remembrance Day Service for the New England Police District this year. The Service will be held on September 29th, the feast day of Saint Michael, patron of police officers, commencing at 10:30am. As well as police officers, chaplains and other visitors from the Police District, all parishioners are welcome.

Prayer to St Michael for Police Officers

O Holy Archangel St Michael, I ask your special protection and prayers for all police men and women. Go with all the angels and saints before the throne of God and ask Him to keep them safe from harm, dedicated to serving and protecting their communities, and full of empathy and compassion for their fellow man. I pray that you will intercede to Almighty God on behalf of the souls of those officers who have died. May they be granted His eternal peace and their families, friends and fellow officers be comforted by His healing grace. Amen.
