St Carlo Acutis Relic Visit - Friday 26 & Saturday 27 June 2026
15th June 2026

Our parish is extremely blessed to host the relic of St Carlo Acutis.
The First Class pilgrim relic is 6 cm in length and 2 cm high, and preserved in a reliquary 33 cm high and 17 cm wide, and is carried worldwide by the Diocese of Assisi, as custodian of the relics of Carlo Acutis. The relic is a section of St Carlo’s pericardium, the membrane that surrounds the heart. This is a sac filled with water that encloses the heart and the great vessels, holding them in place and protecting the body’s most important organ. The relic, therefore, is of major physiological importance.
The relic will arrive in Inverell at 12 Noon on Friday 26th and will first be taken to Holy Trinity School. Parishioners are welcome to attend the talks and venerate the relic with the students at either the 12pm-1.30pm Primary years session, or the 1.30pm-3pm Secondary years session.
The relic will then be brought to the Church at 5pm. Please see the flyer for the Church schedule.
