Vocations Awareness Week 1 August to 8 August

From the 1st to 8th of August our parish unites with the Catholic community in Australia to celebrate Vocations Awareness Week

During this week we concentrate our prayers in praying for more vocations to the priesthood, religious and consecrated life.

What can you do to pray for Vocations this week?

You could attend an extra Mass during the week for the vocation of your children/grandchildren.

You could pray for Vocations as a family by praying one Our Father and three Hail Marys before dinner throughout the week.

Prayer for Vocations

Gracious and loving God, help men and women of our parish to hear the call of God to serve in the diocese of Armidale. Our needs are great, and our people are thirsting for your presence. Open the hearts of many, raise up faithful servants of the Gospel, dedicated holy priests, sisters, brothers, and deacons who will spend themselves for your people and their needs. Bless those who are serving now with courage and perseverance. Grant that many will be inspired by their example and faith. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen
